Night to Shine

Night To Shine is a global event held every February and is sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation and hosted in Kenya by A.I.C CURE International Hospital. The objective is to show Christs love for children living with different kinds of disabilities. On its 5th edition held at AIC CURE Kenya grounds, over 150 children with special needs experienced an extra-ordinary prom where they were celebrated and pampered like the King and Queens that they are!

Nurses Training

CURE Kenya is an official training site for the American Heart Association courses: CPR/ Heartcode First Aid retaining g for Non medics; BLS, ACLS and PALS for healthcare professionals.

Knowing that we deal with lives of children and adults undergoing various Orthopedic surgeries, we ensure that we have the necessary training and equipment needed in case of unprecedented complications requiring resuscitation.

This courses are offered in our hospital every month to staff as per the training program. We also have opened doors to other health institutions which would like to have their staff trained and certified by AHA training materials.

Our hope is that we soon will open a simulation lab with modern equipment so that we can continue equipping our Doctors, nurses, clinical officers and other healthcare cadres with skills.

We thank God for the support we have received from our CURE International

Spiritual Training

We have conducted several spiritual activities in the recent past which include the staff ministry and pastor’s trainings where pastors get an opportunity to interact and share the word of God in a deeper context. They are also trained on how to minister and share a message of hope to the special patients who are in need of CURE services.

The department has also remained steadfast in spiritual nourishment of all CURE staff through the daily morning devotion held at the departmental level where staff get to interact verbally or using video materials in order to comprehensively conduct Bible study.

All mobile clinics presents an opportunity to minister to conduct children ministry through sharing of Bible stories, counseling services to the traumatized and also an opportunity to make a follow-up on the spiritual lives of previously discharged patients.

All these is in addition to the main hospital spiritual activities hence are conducted both at the outpatient and in-patient areas
